One of the cheapest Windows Phone 8 devices available on the market, the HTC 8S is about to make its debut at WIND Mobile.

The Canadian carrier is expected to release the budget-friendly smartphone on February 14 for only $300/€220 outright, MobileSyrup reports.

Customers will also be able to grab the HTC Windows Phone 8S for free on WINDtab with the WIND 40 plan. No word on which color options will be available, but the 8S is currently launched in Domino, Fiesta Red, Atlantic Blue and High-Rise Gray schemes.

HTC 8S sports a 4-inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels, and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

The phone is powered by a dual-core processor clocked at 1GHz, accompanied by 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal memory. More details on the HTC 8S are available here.
