It looks like Canadian carrier Bell plans to launch the HTC Windows Phone 8S this week. The smartphone will be available from February 1 for around $280/€205 outright.

According to MobileSyrup, HTC 8S dummy units have already started to arrive at Bell, so a release this week is very possible.

The less-featured version of HTC 8X, the 8S sports a 4-inch Super LCD capacitive touchscreen display that supports 480 x 800 pixels resolution, and features Corning Gorilla Glass coating.

Hardware-wise, the smartphone packs a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, an Adreno 305 graphics processing unit and 512MB of RAM.

HTC 8S ships with only 4GB of internal memory, but includes microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). Around 7GB of free cloud storage is offered as well via SkyDrive. More details on the phone's specs are available here.
