A new wireless carrier in the United States has made the HTC 7 Pro available for purchase on its airwaves, namely Cellular South, following the launch of this device on US Cellular earlier this week, and its availability at Sprint since March, under the name of HTC Arrive.

The new device was put for sale with a price tag of $199.99 attached to it with the signing of a new two-year service agreement and after a $50 mail-in reward card.

The mobile phone offers a great experience while on the go to all users, through pairing a sliding full QWERTY keyboard and tilt-up display with Microsoft's mobile operating system.

The mobile phone also comes with a unique Start screen with Hubs, so that users can easily access what interests them the most.

Through customizable Live Tiles, the mobile phone will keep users on top of the latest news, messages, social networking updates and missed calls.

Not to mention that it offers a wide range of customization capabilities, with the possibility to add to the homescreen people, apps, playlists, pictures, and other favorites, for one-touch access.

“The HTC 7 Pro is the perfect device for power users who want to combine the ultimate in business efficiency with the ability to take full advantage of their leisure time,” said Sherry Stegall, senior vice president for sales and customer operations at Cellular South.

The specifications list of the new mobile phone includes a 3.6-inch WVGA capacitive touchscreen, which hides a Qualcomm 1GHz Snapdragon processor beneath it, and with the full QWERTY keyboard meant to enable fast, comfortable typing.

The handset also comes with 16GB of internal memory, along with wide range of connectivity options, including Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth, support for 3G networks, and GPS connectivity.

Moreover, it sports a 5-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with auto focus, flash and 720p HD video recording capabilities.

All of the features that Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 operating system came to the market with are available with HTC 7 Pro as well, including the People Hub, Games Hub, Pictures Hub, Music + Videos Hub, Marketplace Hub, and the Office Hub.
