HP has started to make some changes to the already popular webOS App Catalog, adding some new, very appealing features into the mix, and replacing the Palm shopping bag with a new, blue one.

Among the main enhancements the App Catalog was blessed with in the new update, we can count the support for promo codes, along with carrier billing.

The new software is also said to be more responsive than before, and to offer increased performance levels.

One thing that should be noted here is the fact that the update was meant only for phones running under webOS 2.0 or higher, which means that users of older devices would be able to enjoy them.

HP's new App Catalog was released as version 2.0.22300, and all users of webOS handsets running under the aforementioned platform versions should enjoy it.

Along with the aforementioned new features, the software brings a series of bug fixes, and other enhancements that should translate into a better experience for all users.

In related news, we learn that a series of photos with the white HP Veer emerged into the wild, and that the device would be on its way to make an appearance at AT&T.

The phone was spotted before only in black, and this is the first time the white flavor of the handset is seen.

AT&T's HP Veer 4G sports a black face, but the rest of the outer case is white.

For those out of the loop, as should note that the device comes with 2.6-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a 400 x 320 pixels resolution, as well as with an 800MHz processor inside.

The new mobile phone is expected to arrive on shelves with webOS 2.2 on board, though it seems that sources also pointed at the 2.1 and 2.3 flavors of the mobile operating system.

No specific info on when would the mobile phone become available for purchase emerged for the time being.
