The models feature powerful Intel Haswell processors, for less power consumption

HP announced its Chromebook 14 at the IDC in San Francisco earlier this month. And now the company has put a date for when its colorful devices become available in the US and UK. Prepare to grab yours November 3.

As a reminder, the laptops will feature a 14-inch HD display offering a 1366 x 768 pixels. HP has packed under the bonnet a 1.4 GHz Celeron 2955U Haswell chip with 2GB of RAM, which allows for a long battery life span of up to 9.5 hours.

16GB of storage are given off the bat plus a USB 3.0 port, 2 USB 2.0 ones, SD card slot plus an HDMI out.

The slates will come pre-installed with apps like Gmail, YouTube, Google Drive, basically the best of everything Google has to offer.

The HP Chromebook 14 will be available in three radiant colors: Coral Peach, Ocean Turquoise and Snow White.

Price has been set a $299.99 / €225.65 a pop. A Wi-Fi model is also expected to be rolled out for a price a tad higher – $349 / €258, says OmgChrome.
