More territories where Acer will unleash its new device might be announced soon

Acer has announced the official availability of its C720 Chromebook for the US market, with units being available for pre-order through Best Buy and Amazon. The company also rolled it out in India.

Freshly squeezed information, reported by TheNextWeb suggests that Acer is not stopping here and continues to add more countries to the launch list. As it turns out, Europe and UK will be included as well.

The 11.6-incher Haswell powerhouse will become available in Britain through Currys and PC World starting late October or early November and will be priced at £199.99 / $318 / €236.

As far as Europe goes, Acer has chosen Switzerland, Germany, France, Netherlands, Sweden and Finland for the initial wave. Customers will be able to purchase the Chromebook for €249 / $336 starting the end of October.

Acer has packed an 11-inch beautiful display with a resolution of 1366 xx 768 pixels, 4GB of RAM and 16GB SSD. The company promises a significant battery life for the device, up to 8.5 hours of juice.
