HP iPAQ K3 Obsidian Surfaces with a Touchscreen

The HP iPAQ K3 Obsidian has made it into the wild once again, this time around with a few more specs than before, and it shows some interesting features that should stir the interest of QWERTY and touchscreen enthusiasts alike. The reason for this is that the device will reportedly come to the market both with touchscreen capabilities on its AMOLED display as well as with a BlackBerry-like QWERTY keypad.

The screen the HP iPAQ K3 features is reportedly 2.46 inches large, though previously it was supposed to be of 2.8 inches. The specs sheet seems to show the 2.8'' dimension, though it is highly possible that things have changed since May, when the phone was spotted last. Even so, we should note that it will only boast a QVGA resolution.

The specification list of the device also shows a 528MHz CPU, coupled with 256MB of RAM and 512MB of ROM. In addition, the mobile phone also includes Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, as well as a microUSB port and a 3.5mm audio jack. Moreover, users will also have the opportunity to enjoy GPS capabilities with the handset, along with a MicroSD memory card slot for additional storage space.

According to GSM Arena, the camera of the HP iPAQ K3 Obsidian might have been changed too.
