And adds tattoos to it

The number of digital players offered by HP has just increased yesterday, when the company announced that it will begin to manufacture the iPod Mini. Both versions, the 4 GB one (which can store up to 1,000 songs) and the 6 GB one (at a maximum of 1500 songs) will be produced within HP facilities.

However, what's the reason why users should buy the new HP iPod Mini instead of going to an Apple official store or distribution point? Practically, HP's version of iPod will be identical to the original one, the only difference being the HP logo to be applied on the front of the player. And if this is the only difference, let's be serious, who's going to go for HP instead of Apple?

Moreover, at least in the beginning, the two companies won't even have the same to offer, because HP will manufacture only one silver-cased version of the iPod Mini.

Yet, in order to diminish the adverse effects of the one-color model, HP launched in the same time a series of printable tattoos with dimensions preset to serve as an accessory to the iPod. The tattoos will be available in sets of 5 glossy sheets, pre-cut out in order to fit perfectly the player's surface. The price of such a set will be of 9.99 USD.
