It appears that a certain company best known for its PCs has finally gotten around to selling a certain electronic device that doesn't qualify as a computer, being actually a very particular sort of peripheral.

Some end-users may be aware of the fact that, about a month ago, HP unveiled a certain project that doesn't quite define its business practices.

While the outfit is the world's top supplier of PCs, and is also a presence on the enterprise market, the project in question was a mouse, not some new system.

Then again, seeing a PC maker try to deliver something attention-grabbing on the peripheral segment isn't that strange.

That said, the HP WiFi Mobile Wireless Mouse, as it is called, has now begun to actually sell outright, via its maker's official website, for the price of $50.

For those that want a reminder as to what the product can do, it is, essentially, a wireless laser mouse (1,200 to 1,600 dpi).

Primarily, it lacks all sort of need for a router or dongle, as it utilizes the WiFi wireless technology to establish a direct wireless link to any host PC.

Additionally, five programmable buttons exist, as do rubber sides, so that one can easily and firmly hold it in their grip.

Other specification include a 4-way tilt scroll wheel and a battery life of up to 9 months, which isn't bad at all for something measuring 3.89"(L) x 2.28"(W) x 1.38"(H).

One might ask themselves why HP didn't go that one step ahead and give the mouse a less than ordinary shape, but the outfit figured it was better to make sure both right-handed and left-handed people can comfortably operate it.

Finally, prospective buyers can take a look at all available information, and even place their order should they have the necessary sum, by visiting this particular web page.
