HP has recently introduced a new small framed Windows 8 laptop with touch-screen, that might fulfill your need for mobility.

Meet the HP Pavilion TouchSmart 10, a notebook with a 10-inch display that can be acquired off the official HP.com website for $350 / €258 a pop. Paradoxically, the same laptop is available from the Microsoft Store for the much friendlier price of $299 / €220.

HP has packed an AMD A-1200 Temash low-power, mid-range chip under the hood, along with 2GB of RAM and AMD Radeon HD 8180 graphics.

The base HP TouchSmart 10 comes equipped with 320GB hard drive, USB 3.0 port and 2 USB 2.0 ports. It also boasts HDMI out, SD card reader, Ethernet jack and Wi-Fi. Note that you won’t find any Bluetooth here. The mini laptop is said to offer up to 5 hours of battery life.

If you were wondering how little the notebook is, it measures 10.7 x 7.7 x 0.9 inches / 27 x 18 x 2.2 cm and weighs just 3.2 lbs / 1.45 kg.

Those who want to implement better specs should go on and order their model off the HP website because the company allows them to opt for a 500GB hard drive and an HDMI to VGA adapter (for which you have to pay $30 / €22).
