If you have a TouchPad but swapped WebOS for Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich by installing the CyanogenMod 9, you might want to check this out.

The folks at the RootzWiki forum were able to find a middle ground between the two operating systems, so to speak.

Android 4.0 is all well and good, but webOS is not without its assets.

People may be particularly fond of how webOS went about app switching, for instance.

It so happens that webCM9, a new addition to the CyanogenMod 9, replaces the stock Ice Cream Sandwich recent apps list with an app switcher that emulates the webOS one.

ClockworkMod Recovery has to be used for the installation, since the Android 4.0 user interface is what goes through changes.

Left and right swipes will bring out the recently used apps, while an upward swipe will remove an app from the list without completely closing it.

All in all, the way Android 4.0 runs is not changed at all, only the way it looks.
