Provided you don't mind bugs, you can switch from webOS to Android

The CyanogenMod 9 Android 4.0 port was released for the HP TouchPad last month, but the software has now reached its second Alpha version.

HP may have killed the TouchPad early, but the slate ended up selling in high numbers afterwards, due to fire sales at very low prices.

This means that there are many people out there who own a TouchPad, and since HP isn't supporting webOS anymore, independent developers are giving it Android instead.

This Alpha 2 version of the CyanogenMod 9 follows Alpha 0.6 and brings some video support fixes.

Most notably, though, it enables Netflix to work on the tablet and even lets video scaling to function properly instead of looking blocky.

As before, a RootzWiki forum thread has all the info and resources needed to install the hack. Just make sure you know what you're doing first.
