HP Releases Trailer of Envy 14 Spectre Notebook, the World Glitters

HP was feeling particularly dramatic this start of the new year, so it made a 30-second teaser video of the Envy 14 Spectre notebook.

Alas, the cinematic masterpiece practically doesn't reveal anything, except that the item is black on the outside and has a perfectly working hinge.

Envy 14 Spectre may or may not be an Ultrabook, one of the new, super-thin mobile personal computers that Intel and partners have been gushing about left and right.

There is as much chance of it being an entertainment/gaming notebook or even a business model, though.

At this point, we can only wait until a leak tells us more or HP goes ahead and formally launches it, possibly during the rapidly approaching CES 2012.

For those unaware, this year's Consumer Electronic Show will take place from January 10 to January 13.
