The overall sales performance of Microsoft’s new Windows 8 operating system is pretty important for HP, so the company is trying to reduce confusion over the new software with its very own Metro app.
The so-called “Getting Started with Windows 8” app is a software solution that comprises helpful guides on basically every single feature implemented into the new operating system, including the Start Screen, the Windows Store, the new Control Panel and the updated Task Manager.
In addition, it offers step-by-step guides to discover the benefits of the Charms and the new menus, as well as a great amount of information on the supported touch gestures.
The app is obviously available at absolutely no cost, but it’s only compatible with x86 and x64 computers, so no Windows RT support for the time being.
