Next year should bring us a nice range of new devices from HP/Palm, as the company already confirmed officially, and some more info on the matter emerged, including details on the company readying ads for some yet unannounced devices. In early November, enthusiasts discovered a load of new names in the webOS 2.0 code, most probably related to upcoming devices, and some of these names made a new appearance into the wild.

We're referring here to the HP/Palm Broadway, Manta and Topaz, which are set to be featured in new videos soon, as a PreCentral reader points out.

Apparently, the company has called for enthusiast interested in appearing in the said ads for new HP Palm Phones recently, with two different ads spotted on December 23 on the DirectCast site, one for young fun people, and another for stylish persons.

One reader who answered the call says that the ads would involve the said HP Palm Broadway, Manta and Topaz devices, at least this being what was spotted on the casting page.

These names were heard before, and they might soon turn into actual devices in users' hands, though nothing specific is known on them for the time being.

Some of the unofficial details available on these devices include the fact that the Broadway would be a mobile phone that might have something to do with the Pixi 2, while the Manta might have something to do with the Mantaray codename spotted in November.

As for the last of the three, Topaz, it is expected to become the PalmPad tablet PC that was rumored last week to be on its way to make a splashy appearance at the 2011 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

Of course, it might all turn out differently, but this does not exclude the possibility that the rumors would pan out. We'll keep out fingers crossed for an official unveiling set for next week, so stay tuned for more info on the matter.
