We announced at the beginning of May that Canonical entered a partnership with Ebuyer, a British electronic commerce retailer, to sell AMD-based HP laptops with Ubuntu Linux pre-installed.

At that point in time, the laptops were available only for pre-order from Ebuyer's online store, and they were set to be fully available at the end of May 2015. As such, we are happy to inform you that the Ubuntu-powered laptops are available for purchase starting today, May 28, 2015.

Best of all, if you purchase one of the three HP laptops with AMD technology inside and preloaded with the Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) operating system until the end of the month (May 31), you will be able to claim up to £100 ($150 / €140) for your old laptop.

"AMD-based HP laptops preloaded with Ubuntu are now available for purchase from +Ebuyer.com Plus, for a limited time - until the 31st May - you can claim up to £100 cash back when you buy one of these laptops and trade in your old one!" says Canonical on a Google+ announcement.
