They are the only mobile PCs in the company's new lineup, not counting the Envy Rove20

The Envy Rove20 from HP wins points for being the first mobile all-in-one PC ever made (or so HP claims), but it is not the only portable system that Hewlett-Packard has introduced.

There are, in fact, two others, called Pavilion 11 TouchSmart Notebook and Pavilion 14 TouchSmart Sleekbook.

In its press release, HP did not go into many details about either product, just as it avoided in-depth descriptions of the Rove20 and the “normal” AiO PCs (Pavilion 20/23 TouchSmart AiO, Envy 4500/5530).

It did mention the screen sizes and, for the Sleekbook at least, the processor type.

The HP Pavilion 11 TouchSmart Notebook has an LCD screen of 11.6 inches in diagonal, complete with 10-point multitouch support.

Meanwhile, the HP Pavilion 14 TouchSmart Sleekbook is a 14-inch ultrathin laptop that cannot be called an ultrabook simply because it doesn't have an Intel CPU.

Instead, it employs an AMD A-Series processor, one of those that Advanced Micro Devices has only just officially launched.

Both laptops run Microsoft's Windows 8 operating system and will be officially introduced next month (June 2013).

To be more specific, the HP Pavilion 11 TouchSmart Notebook and HP Pavilion 14 TouchSmart Sleekbook will ship from June 23 onwards, at least in the US.

They will have prices of $399 / €310 and $479.99 / €373, respectively. Quite low really, although we are sure that the hardware will be customizable, so truly strong components will demand higher tags.

On a related note, HP introduced a pair of compact printers called HP ENVY 4500 and 5530 e-All-in-Ones, featuring HP wireless direct (printing over Wi-Fi) and HP ePrint technologies (printing over e-mail/remote access). There's AirPrint too, through which both owners and “customers” can print tickets, e-mails, photos, etc., from their PCs, phones, tablets, etc.

HP hopes that, maybe, the Pavilion systems will act as incentive to buy the printers.
