Those who ordered will have to wait for about four weeks

While Dell is almost ready to ship its Inspiron 14z ultrabook, HP is having some trouble making deliveries of the Envy Spectre XT.

HP has been accepting orders for the Spectre XT Ultrabooks for some time now.

If you are among those who ordered and have yet to receive your laptop, brace yourself, because you might have to wait a while longer. HP's store still provides that “customize and buy” button in full functionality, but clicking the option shows that orders won't be fulfilled until August 28.

According to CNET, this is because "orders are taking longer to fulfill than HP expected," which doesn't actually tell us anything relevant, like if there are too many of them or if the manufacturing hit some stumbling blocks, to name a couple.

At any rate, HP will contact all those who placed orders and notify them of updated delivery dates.
