HP is refreshing its line of consumer-oriented Envy laptop models, with the new M6 which comes with an interesting novelty.

As opposed to most laptops that come with a left and right click button located at the bottom of the touchpad, for the new Envy M6 (TouchSmart) HP has moved the clickable areas on the left and right sides.

The trackpad also boasts a technology called Control Zone, which you might be familiar with because the Spectre 13 Ultrabook comes embedded with it too. The whole point of Control Zone is to allow users to easily interact with the Windows 8 interface, by adding a bunch of additional multi-touch gestures to the table.

Furthermore, the laptop also has a touchscreen display, a chiclet-style keyboard with numeric pad and backlight.

Other details including the processor powering the device are currently unknown. Luckily enough, the m6-n010dx model of the HP Envy Touchsmart M6 has been listed as new arrival at Best Buy so we can tell you the specifications listed by the shopping giant.

The notebook's specifications appear to be pretty mainstream, as the laptop arrives with a 15.6-inch screen with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution and draws power from an average A10-5750M processor with Radeon HD 8650G integrated graphics.

This is comparable to having an Intel Core i5-4200U with Intel HD 4400 onboard. The laptop is also fitted with 6GB of RAM and 750GB of hard drive.

Other specs include four USB ports, HDMI out, media card reader, Wi-Fi, Ethernet LAN and Bluetooth. The model is listed as selling for $629.99 / €456.
