We can expect to see more LTE enhanced Chromebooks to appear in the wild

Earlier this month the first Chromebook with LTE connectivity was made available for purchase. The notebook was a version of the HP Chromebook 11 with added Verizon 4G LTE support.

Now it appears this isn’t the only Chrome-enhanced laptop to be offering this feature. Retail Cusco is selling an HP Chromebook 14 model that is compatible with T-Mobile’s 4G network for $379.99 / €278 a pop.

And like the iPad Air, the device will be getting 200MB of mobile broadband forever (well as long as you own the above-mentioned device).

Walmart, on the other hand, offers it with $30 / $22 less and specifically highlights the deal.

“Don’t worry about connecting, even when you go beyond Wi-Fi with free 4G. Enjoy 200MB of free data each month, no annual contract, for the life of your device.”

Granted, 200MB is not much, but it’s still something worth having when you’re in some remote place and want to check your email or download a quick eBook off the web. Hopefully, T-Mobile will deliver as promised, no exceptions.
