Back in January, it was announced that HP partnered up with Israel’s Altair 4G chip manufacturing company in order to bring Verizon 4G LTE support to its line of Chromebooks.

More specifically, the Chromebook 11 model got the LTE treatment and the laptop originally went on sale for $379 / €278. Interestingly enough, just a month or so later, the price has significantly dropped and now the LTE model is even cheaper than the non-LTE version.

So if you’re looking to jump in the Chromebook bandwagon, the Verizon touched laptop is now available in retail at BestBuy for $249 / €181, as opposed to the non-LTE variant which costs $279 / €203.

The model up for purchase is powered by a 1.7GHz Samsung Exynos processor combined with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of flash storage. Apart from that, you’ll be getting the same 11-inch IPS screen with 1366 x 768 pixel resolution, we have seen in the non-LTE model.

Both models can be picked up in a variety of color options, so if you're looking to join the Chromebook family by purchasing a laptop that will allow you to stay connected everywhere you go, now it might be the perfect time to do so.
