Good news, Chromebook lovers residing in Australia! HP has finally brought its HP Chromebook 11 to your country, after stopping sales in the US and UK, due to issues related to an overheating charger.

The lappy will be available from JB Hi-Fi and Harvey Norman for AUD$399 / $358 / €265 a pop, says Financial Review.

As you might know so far, the device sports an 11-inch IPS screen with a 1366 x 768 pixels and power comes from an ARM Cortex-A15 dual-core processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and backed up by 16GB of storage.

Like with any Chromebooks, customers will get free 100GB of Google Drive storage space for 2 years, which comes with the purchase. Hopefully, the overheating charger issues have been fixed and we won’t see the pesky problems come back to plague this laptop again.
