The new slate offers 2-1 tablet/phone functionalities

HCL extends another offering to the budget Indian consumer looking for a decently priced slate with some honorable feats.

Here’s the HCL Me V3 Connect Tab which comes with a built-in GSM Voice Calling Tab, which means users can use the tablet as a smartphone. It offers your average 7-inch capacitive multi-touch screen and a decent enough 1.2 GHz Cortex A9 processor with 1GB of RAM embedded inside to provide all the power.

The device ships with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean out of the box and bears two cameras, a 3.2MP rear one and a 0.3MP front one. It has 4GB of memory locked inside, with the possibility or extending it further to 32GB.
