HIS announced the launch of an ATI based graphics card, the Radeon HD 2600XT iSilenceIII, which features a Zalman cooling solution with heatpipes and DDR3 video memory modules. Because of the completely noiseless cooling solution employed by the manufacturing company, the Radeon HD 2600XT iSilenceIII is perfect as a multimedia appliance that fully supports the HD 1080P high definition video
standard.

HIS Radeon HD 2600XT iSilenceIII features a special passive cooling technology based on a fanless design and Zalman made heatpipes and radiator, that coupled with a high speed graphics processing unit which reaches frequencies up to 600MHz and memory modules running at 1400MHz, makes it the perfect solution of an extraordinary gaming experience in a completely noiseless environment. Because of the latest generation video processing unit that is integrated into the graphics card, the HIS Radeon HD 2600XT iSilenceIII fully supports the DirectX 10 API and offers hardware based support for HD video and connectivity with big screen TV sets.

HIS Radeon HD 2600 XT delivers remarkable gaming performance on its own but when coupled with another graphics card from its series in the multi video setup known as CrossFire, users will be able to experience the HD visual effect of Windows Vista and DirectX 10 games to their fullest. Because of the CrossFire option, the HIS graphics cards can be easily scaled for maximum performance without the need of purchasing expensive computer hardware parts or upgrading existing ones. The ATI Avivo technology is also integrated into the latest HIS card and it helps produce "advanced audio, video processing, display and connectivity capabilities for high definition entertainment solutions", while supporting the playback of Blu-ray and HD DVD discs. Because of its UVD, Unified Video Decoder, the Radeon HD 2600 graphics processing unit provides hardware based acceleration when playing Blu-ray and HD DVDs which translates into a lesser CPU utilization and a cooler computing environment.

The HIS Radeon HD 2600 delivers powerful graphics performance and according to the press release from the manufacturing company, the card is fully certified to work with Microsoft's Windows Vista and use the Aero user interface.
