It has a custom-made dual-fan cooler but reference clock speeds

In the realm of OEM graphics cards, there are those that stick to reference designs, those that take lots of liberties, and those that stay somewhere in between.

One of the new video board revealed by HIS is one from the third category, while the other is of the first type.

That is to say, while the HD 7850 IceQ X² sticks to the reference clock speeds (which means 860 MHz core / 4.8 GHz 2 GB GDDR5 memory), the HD 7850 IceQ X² Turbo is factory-overclocked as well (1 GHz / 4.8 GHz memory).

Both video adapters have dual-fan coolers that take up two PCI Express slots.

As for the PCB, it comes with 8-phase VRM (66% more current than AMD's reference PCB).

Pricing will vary by region, but will hover around $200 / €200.
