On Monday, wireless carrier T-Mobile USA went official with plans to add to its offering a series of new Android-based devices at very appealing price tags, but it seems that these phones can be purchased for even less from Walmart.

We're referring here to the Motorola Defy and LG Optimus T smartphones, which should become available for purchase at the wireless carrier as soon as tomorrow.

Along with them, Walmart has the upcoming Windows Phone 7-based HTC HD7 listed on their website here for only $149.99, down from the $199.99 price tag the device sports at the wireless carrier.

As for the price tags they sport at Walmart, users would rejoice learning that the LG Optimus T, which should be made available at T-Mobile for $29.99, costs only $0.97 at Walmart.

As for the rugged Motorola DEFY Android device it is available for purchase for only $48.88 at Walmart, though T-Mobile has it for $99.

As one can easily imagine, these smartphones are available at the aforementioned price tags upon the signing of a two-year contract agreement with the wireless carrier.

The Motorola Defy and LG Optimus T Android-based devices are set to arrive at T-Mobile tomorrow, November 8th, while the Windows Phone 7-based HTC HD7 should become available on November 8th.

As TmoNews notes in a recent article, the two Android devices were made available for purchase at Walmart both for existing and for new customers to T-Mobile's network, which should make the offer seem even more appealing than before.

Also tomorrow, T-Mobile should make available on its network another Android based device at an affordable price tag, the T-Mobile Comet.

With the holiday season nearing fast, it sounds pretty great that T-Mobile is making more handsets available for purchase on its airwaves, so that customers benefit from a wider range of options.

Additional info on these offers, as well as on other devices available for purchase at Walmart, can be found on the retailer's website.
