Singer reportedly threw a major fit when she saw retouched pics for latest campaign

When H&M announced that their next celebrity spokesperson would be Beyonce, fans and the media rejoiced because, as the clothing giant also admitted just recently, they had been using very thin girls for quite a while.

However, according to a new report, not even Beyonce was safe from those so-called Photoshop wizards because H&M bosses were really determined to retouch away all her famous curves.

Bey posed for pictures but, when they came back to her for approval, she noticed that her figure was decisively slimmer, less curvy.

She blew a fuse, Page Six writes, citing a report from one of the British tabs.

“When Beyonce found out they had edited the way her body really looked, she hit the roof,” says an insider.

“She’s a true diva and was furious that she had been given such a snubbing. Her people refused to give the pictures the green light so H&M were forced to use the originals,” adds the spy, hinting that the current promo pics out now are almost entirely Photoshop-free.

In a statement, H&M admits that certain “discussions” were had but refuses to flat-out deny or confirm the report.

“As with all campaigns there are discussions on which images should be used. Both H&M and Beyoncé are very happy with the final result,” says a company spokesperson.

Even though Beyonce recently made plenty of headlines for banning photographers from her tour to force them to use only pre-approved pictures of her in their dealings with the media, she’s always been a campaigner for a healthy body image.

She’s curvy and she refuses to diet herself to stick thin because that would be against her nature. Instead, Beyonce eats healthy and works out regularly (quite a lot, actually – especially when she’s on tour) and is proud of her figure.

Somehow, it makes sense for her to object to have her curves Photoshopped right off.
