H-Hour: World's Elite is the spiritual successor to the third-person shooter series SOCOM, and developer SOF Studios has released the first exclusive gameplay footage video to show what players will be up to once the game goes live.

H-Hour: World's Elite has been crowdfunded via a Kickstarter campaign during last summer, and is expected to land on the PC and PlayStation 4 platforms.

The three-minute-long gameplay trailer shows a lot of soldiers shooting each other in third person, and the footage comes from the game's first international play test, offering a taste of the tactical military shooter.

SOF Studios have pointed out that the gameplay and visuals are still in development, and that the video shows the game's current state, and not the final quality of the build.

As the game is being made in Unreal Engine 4, it should look at least great, if not better, when it comes out, with pretty visuals and fluid character animations.

The studio is currently looking to acquire more backers in order to move forward with the production efforts, reaching out to publishers and private investors, trying to convince them that there is interest in the game and that they are not only reviving a classic gameplay style but also focusing on innovation that goes beyond "more epic kill streaks," as the latest dev blog states.
