Whether they like her movies or not, audiences have long agreed that actress Gwyneth Paltrow is truly one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood, the kind that, while not being too striking, bespeaks of health and happiness. The secret, Paltrow reveals in the latest GOOP newsletter, is the many things she has in her cupboard: things we too can use at home to maintain our youthful and healthy appearance.

Although she’s the celebrity spokesperson of Estee Lauder, one of the biggest names in the cosmetics industry, Gwyneth admits in her latest post on her official website with lifestyle tips that she’d rather rely on nature to give her perfect skin and to offer her solutions to eliminate certain problems that occur at every stage in a woman’s life. Thus, instead of spending too much money on beauty masks and expensive treatments, she simply reaches for her kitchen cupboard and improvises from there on.

However, before slathering ourselves in coconut oil and rubbing our bodies with ground coffee, we need to learn that beauty is individual so we’re to look only inside to find it, and not around us, Paltrow says. “The first thing is to find acceptance when you look in the mirror. The mind wants to focus on flaws. Ease it into remembering the beauty of who you are.” the actress and mother of two, whose perfect skin and enviable figure has gotten even her most bitter critics to sing her praise, says.

Once this is out of the way, we can move on to the serious beauty stuff, starting with a three-stage scrub. “Take a detox bath with Epsom salts to de-puff skin. Exfoliate then slather with extra virgin organic coconut oil. Make a body scrub by mixing Turbinado sugar, olive oil and coarsely ground coffee. Then use an oatmeal and honey mixture before applying aloe vera juice. To reduce puffy morning eyes, place a chilled spoon over the lids or use cotton pads soaked in milk. Prevent wrinkles around the mouth with daily facial exercises. Stick your tongue out as far as you can while keeping your eyes wide and hold for 30 seconds.” Gwyneth Paltrow writes on GOOP.

As we have already told you on previous occasions, the actress believes that, these days, women are being bombarded with too much information and, thus, lured into buying the most expensive products that, to make matters only worse, don’t even work as promised. What they should do, instead of giving way to false or, at best, misleading advertising, is turn to their home and find there most of the answers, be them in terms of beauty, diet or healthy living, Gwyneth Paltrow believes.
