Tracy Anderson and Gwyneth Paltrow launch 3 Green Hearts organic catering service

Oscar-winning actress Gwyneth Paltrow and her personal trainer / good friend Tracy Anderson are teaming up for another business venture, one that will see them deliver fresh, organic and allergen-free food to people hitting Tracy’s gyms in the Hamptons. The plan is to expand shortly after.

All the food included in the new catering service is gluten-, soy-, dairy-, egg- and nuts-free, which means that not one of the known allergens are included. Customers will be getting only the best of the best, fresh, organic, locally-sourced foods, the two promise in an interview with the Hamptons Magazine.

Smoothies, pasta, salads and desserts

The new catering service is called 3 Green Hearts and is a partnership between Anderson, Paltrow and longtime business associate Maria Baum. At first, it will only be available in the Hamptons, at the gyms Anderson has set up there, but it will expand to include cleaning products and other items, which will hopefully be shipped nation- or even worldwide.

Anderson says that the desire to create this catering service came from the need to offer her customers the other element essential to good health and a toned figure: nutrition.

Moreover, she says, both she and Paltrow are mothers, so they know how important isn’t just how much and when you eat, but the quality of your food as well. The focus is on ridding the body of toxic elements or stuff that is of little nutritional value, despite the high calorie count.

“I’m a major foodie so there’s also going to be frosting shots, but the frosting is made without all the processed things that really hurt us,” Anderson says. “I’ve figured out how to make the best cookies that have no gluten, no soy, no dairy, no nuts, no eggs - all the main common allergens. It’s also about me being able to settle the inflammation free that is so many bodies.”

3 Green Hearts will deliver gluten-free pasta, juices and smoothies made on the day of the delivery, fish tacos, quinoa salads, grilled salmon, and kale ravioli.

A new trend in celebrity endorsement: healthy meals

Paltrow isn’t the only A-list celebrity to get into the catering business: just recently, showbiz power couple Beyonce and Jay Z took a similar step, launching the 22 Days Nutrition, in partnership with their nutritionist Marco Borges.

Both Beyonce and Jay went vegan (or plant-based diet followers, as they would rather be called) to impressive results, which has determined them to try and deliver their eating plan to paying customers as well.

So far, it hasn’t really been working out for them, but maybe Beyonce’s self-titled BFF, Gwyneth, will have more success in her endeavor.
