Gwyneth Paltrow didn’t just announce she and husband of 11 years Chris Martin had decided to separate: she actually made the term “conscious uncoupling” mainstream, drawing attention to the fact that divorces must not necessarily be tied to negative emotions and hatred.

As much as celebrity bloggers and regular people at home laughed at her fancy way of naming her split, there’s no denying that she has power, she has a voice loud enough to be heard in all four corners of the world.

So, Gwyneth plans to use that voice and her acquired wisdom to write a book on conscious uncoupling, Star magazine claims in its latest print issue (story via CB). It will deal exclusively with “the art of divorce,” a concept the Oscar-winner found out about from Dr. Habib Sadeghi, her mentor.

Hopefully, says the report, it will “revamp the way people end their marriages,” which, if you think about some of the nasty things said and done during divorce procedures (and not just in showbiz), wouldn’t be a bad thing to happen.

“In typical Gwyneth fashion, she thinks she will eventually become the expert on divorce and how to do it in a better way,” an insider reveals for the tab. Apparently, Gwyneth is actually thinking of getting Chris to write a foreword to the book, which would make sense if she’s out to prove to the world that divorce can be very amicable.

Gwyneth has tried her hand at writing before, coming out with two cookbooks so far. They were pretty much savaged by critics (food and non-food critics), but they still did well in sales.

The actress also pens the regular Goop newsletter, in which she tackles topics ranging from diet and nutrition, to beauty and skincare, parenting and, as of late, her marital woes. Indeed, Gwyneth announced her decision to divorce Chris on Goop, her lifestyle website.

Right after the bomb dropped, the two left with their kids for a vacation in the Bahamas, thus showing everybody that there was really no bad blood between them. Paparazzi shots confirmed they were still friendly, as photos of them at the beach and at various local restaurants showed them laughing together and even holding hands.

So, while the Star report makes Gwyneth sound like a very insufferable and conceited woman for thinking she’s an “expert” in divorce, if she’s really planning on writing this book, she might as well do it because she seems to have this conscious uncoupling thing to a tee. If she ends up helping couples going through divorce, all the more power to her.
