Actress Gwyneth Paltrow confessed her performance in the movie adaptation of "Proof" will be very different from her appearances in the stage original, because of her father's death.
Gwyneth is playing the role of a daughter who comes to the aid of her dying father, a brilliant math professor who's lost his grip on reality. The actress admits the tragic death of her father marked her, so this role will be an emotional experience.
She says: "The difference between my stage performance and my movie performance is that my father was still alive when I did the play.
You don't what that's like until it happens. I had the first anniversary of his death while we were filming, so it was very, very raw for me," Paltrow added.
