Actress and occasional singer Gwyneth Paltrow also runs her own lifestyle website, Goop. On it, she offers readers advice on a wide range of topics, from what clothes to buy for kids to what items to pack for the perfect summer holiday. In the most recent
newsletter, Paltrow dishes lots of tips for those interested in making the most of their summer holiday while also looking as spectacular as ever.
Among the offers for makeup products such as lipgloss and eyeshadow, Gwyneth also mentions a couple of “wonder gadgets,” which, she says, she’s already tried and is very happy with.
One of them is the Opal Sonic Infusion System from Clarisonic, which aims to rid the area around the eyes of wrinkles by being a better alternative to the traditional method of applying moisturizer, by hand.
The other is Mia, from the same makers.
“Leslie Lopez, my makeup artist, has been raving to me about Clarisonic, which uses a sonic frequency to clean and tone skin,” the Oscar-winning actress writes.
“The Mia is the perfect size for summer travels and I’ve been obsessed with mine ever since I started using it. I’ve seen a real difference on my own skin,” she adds.
“Another wonder-gadget from Clarisonic, this one focuses in on fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes by infusing the skin with anti-aging skin serum,” Gwyneth also says of the second gadget she uses on a daily basis.
Of course, neither product is cheap (the Opal Sonic retails for $185), but Paltrow vouches that both do their job as promised.
If one is to judge by her flawless complexion, it certainly seems so.
As noted above, in the same newsletter, Gwyneth also offers some tips about the best skincare products for women, especially on the hot, dry summer days, but also for kids, meant to protect their delicate skin at the beach or at the pool.
