With her spectacular transformation from dedicated full-time mother to glamorous red carpet darling with an obsession for spectacular high heels and minuscule frocks, Gwyneth Paltrow has once again wowed the criss-crossing fashion
and entertainment world. Apart from her ultra-fashionable - sometimes cutting-edge - choices in clothes and accessories, part of the public admiration for Gwyneth derives from the actress' enviable post-baby figure and her newly-found lifestyle, which has obviously contributed to the success of her metamorphosis.
"Oh, my God, I've worked out like crazy", Gwyneth reveals in an interview with Harper's Bazaar. She admits that the key to her physical transformation lies in completing a complex and sometimes grueling workout regime set specifically for her needs by star trainer Tracy Anderson, who is also in charge of Madonna's extremely muscly and resilient physique. "I needed something that would really target the post-baby situation. She's literally a genius. She's completely changed my body", Paltrow reveals about Anderson, who designs training schedules specifically targeted at her clients' needs. "You do it for 10 days, and by the end of it you've lost like 11 inches", she laughs.
Surprisingly, the actress also reveals that her two pregnancies have done away with her previous diet fanaticism and have helped her take a more reasonable approach to healthy eating. "All I could eat was grilled-cheese sandwiches and yogurt and apples, so I couldn't be macrobiotic", Gwyneth reveals about her pregnancy diet. She has also taken on the chef duties in her own home, cooking "grilled flounder and lettuce wedges with blue-cheese dressing" when staying in the States and "cold-weather food like roasts and cassoulets with no bacon", when in London. One of the biggest revelations brought about by her pregnancy, she says, was an awareness of her beauty aspirations for the future. "I don't want to look like a mother who doesn't care. For myself, for my work, and for my relationship, I want to look good".
