14 DAY TRIAL // Gwyneth Paltrow may have come under a lot of fire for the way she chose to announce her divorce from husband of 11 years Chris Martin earlier this year, by using the now-infamous phrase “conscious uncoupling,” but there’s no denying that they managed to handle what would have turned into a highly mediated divorce in the most discrete manner possible.
Besides a few initial reports on what might have brought on the decision to split and even more on the possibility that they might reconcile, it’s been total radio silence on the Gwyneth – Chris front for weeks now.
That said, it would not be that far-fetched to imagine the actress in the position of a “mentor,” teaching her good friend Beyonce how to handle her impending divorce from Jay Z in a way that would attract the least negative media attention possible.

With an estimated joint fortune of $1 billion (€753.8 million), every bit of bad press translates into money loss for Beyonce and Jay, so they need to split by the book, minimizing damage. According to the latest in Us Weekly, this is where Gwyneth comes in.
Having gone through this already, she’s now introducing her friend to the art of a good, amicable split but it’s only because Beyonce came to her asking for her, an insider reveals for the mag.
“Blue Ivy's mom is planning for the breakup to echo the Goop founder's amicable ‘conscious uncoupling’ from Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, the source says,” writes the celebrity publication.
The announcement has been timed to come out in the fall, once they have done the last dates in the On the Run Tour. “The day after the announcement, Bey and Jay will be spotted together. The two will be all lovey-dovey,” says the spy.
This is exactly what Gwyneth and Chris also did; they even went on a family vacation together in the week after the announcement, which, as you can imagine, led to a lot of speculation on the possibility of a very early reconciliation.
Rumors about Beyonce and Jay Z’s unhappy marriage picked up a lot of speed in May, when a video leaked, showing her sister Solange repeatedly attacking Jay in an elevator, as Beyonce looked on, apparently indifferent to the whole scene.
Insiders claim that there’s been a lot of infidelity in the marriage on both sides, but mostly on his. Admittedly, Queen Bey is tired of it and, now that Jay helped her become the biggest female artist on the scene, she wants out of the relationship.
