Whenever she talks of how she likes to take the utmost care of her body by being very careful about what she eats, Gwyneth Paltrow comes under fire. Her recent comments on her kids’ diet got her even more criticism, especially in the online media.

The problem is, she says in her new interview on Good Morning America, that people need something to rant about and she just happens to be that person whom they become fixated on.

Her exact words about her kids’ diet were: “Sometimes when my family is not eating pasta, bread or processed grains like white rice, we’re left with that specific hunger that comes with avoiding carbs.”

In the same blog post, she also wrote that they were not allowed eggs or dairy.

In the video below, Gwyneth denies reports that she’s starving her kids for days at a time, saying all that is just sensationalism, lies spread by publications that have too many columns to fill.

She also blasts reports that her new cookbook is too expensive for regular folks and professes herself amused by the allegation.
