Gwyneth Paltrow is proving to be that good friend for Beyonce who, right now, is going through a rough patch with her husband Jay Z. It’s because of her advice that the two aren’t in the middle of a highly mediated divorce, claims a new report.
Since May this year, there’s been insane speculation on the state of things between Jay and Beyonce, with countless reports saying that she had found out how many times he’d cheated on her and was determined to put an end to it once and for all.
Reports of cheating or even of a potential separation have made the headlines before, but it was never as bad as this: right now, not a day goes by without at least 3 new rumors making it into the press. Even some of the bigger outlets (People Magazine, NY Daily News, NY Post) are saying that divorce is definitely in the cards for these two.
If you’re one of the millions of fans worried that any day might spell the (official) end of the biggest couple in music, perhaps you have no reason to worry: a new report in Hollywood Life says that a decision has been made not to separate for the time being.
Apparently, we have Gwyneth Paltrow to thank for that: she and Beyonce have been friends for years, and the singer even posted photos of herself snapped in what looks like Gwyneth’s house in Southern California. So she’s been crashing over at her place.
“Beyonce has been leaning on Gwyneth for support and advice on how to best handle her rocky relationship with Jay Z. Gwyneth adores both Beyonce and Jay Z, so it’s not like she’s taking sides. But her main words of advice have been to take things slowly and to not rush into making any drastic decisions,” an insider reveals.
“She thinks Beyonce and Jay Z, and of course Blue Ivy, need alone time far away from the public eye to just chill and get grounded,” adds the tipster.
So maybe the break from the On the Run Tour, which only has a couple more dates for Paris next month, will help them save their marriage.
Come to think of it, even though Gwyneth is also going through a divorce right now, perhaps there’s no better person to dish out marital advice: her romantic relationship with estranged / soon-to-be-ex-husband Chris Martin may be over, but they remain good friends, committed to being excellent parents to their 2 children.
Their split, which Paltrow pompously called “conscious uncoupling,” is an example of how to conduct an amicable divorce, even in Hollywood, where some of the nastiest breakups ever took place. In fact, if we’re to believe rumors, they might not get divorced after all because they’re talking about getting back together and giving it another try.
