Gwyneth Paltrow is on a roll at the moment. The actress has been hard at work making her way back into the glamorous world of fashion and cinema after spending a few years away from the showbiz world, focusing on her two
children with husband Chris Martin. However, the charming Mrs. Paltrow decided it was time for a spectacular comeback, and that's exactly what she did, embarking on a successful promo campaign for "Iron Man" complete with a sensational fashion makeover which saw Gwyneth parading her uber-fashionable clothes and tottering designer shoes on various red carpets around the world.

Looking at Gwyneth's latest V Magazine spread shot by celebrated photographer Mario Sorrenti, it's quite hard to imagine that a short while ago, Gwyneth was a dedicated stay-at-home mother of two who admits to turning her back on her macrobiotic diet during her second pregnancy (with her

second son Moses, born two years ago in April 2006) and allowing the pounds to pile on. In the interview accompanying the V magazine photo spread, Gwyneth admits that she had put on three stone (42 pounds) during her second pregnancy. "I hated the stomach roll, the back fat [...]. And it was so hard to get rid of. Especially the final 20lb", she confessed.

How did she get rid of the excess poundage and return to her famous skinny self? The answer is by working out and eating "organic, seasonal food that isn't processed". "I haven't eaten meat for about fifteen years. I eat fish, a little bit of dairy - not much milk - but I love cheese". However, she also admits to having a few hidden vices that she finds quite difficult to battle. "We'll make chocolate chip cookies and eat them, but sugar makes me feel pretty bad. I have coffee and wine. I've got lots of lovely vices". However, the rigorous fitness routines and the sensible eating had their say and Gwyneth is back, looking better than ever. Which is, of course, very good news.
