Gwen Stefani is said to have been planning to take the starring role in the movie she has been thinking of.

The singer turned fashion designer wants to prove her acting skills as well.
Stefani said that her project is still in early days.

"I would love to do another movie, like to have a real role - not that that wasn't - I mean JEAN HARLOW in a MARTIN SCORSESE movie is not bad! But I would love to do a film", the diva confessed.

"I have something I'm developing right now, but with films there's so many people involved and it costs so much, and there's so much at risk; I don't like to talk about it.
(…) When it's coming out I'll talk about it", Stefani added.

The No Doubt singer has been recently described as "the biggest female rock star of the last decade... ".
