Gwen Stefani was so thrilled that Pharell Williams made her an offer that she put everything on hold and decided to join him in the studio.
The diva, who has been relentlessly promoting her debut solo album, is said to have taken ten days off to spend more time with her husband, Gavin Rossdale.
The LOVE ANGEL MUSIC BABY singer has been out on a headlining tour that stopped in St. Paul, Minnesota, on Monday (November 14), and received an offer from the FRONTIN' hitmaker, so she decided to join him in the studio.
Stefani and Pharell Williams will be creating the follow up LP LOVE ANGEL MUSIC BABY PART II.
"I was like, 'Wow, that's very ambitious! On the one break that I might have to hang out with Gavin, to hang out with you for ten days and write songs again?' Gwen said of Williams' offer.
"But it's such an opportunity to work with him, so I did it", the singer added.
Gwen Stefani has also declared that No Doubt will soon return with a new album.
No Doubt's last studio album, Rock Steady, came out in 2001.
Meanwhile, the diva focuses on her concerts and on her new solo album, as well.
