Gwen Stefani, Gavin Rossdale Heading for Divorce

They're considered one of the most solid couples in showbiz but they too are having serious marital issues. Gavin Rossdale and Gwen Stefani are on the brink of divorce, a new report in Star magazine claims, as cited by Hollywood Life.

So far, in their 10-year marriage, they have managed to weather all storms – and they did have quite a share, what with allegations of same-gender flings and extra-marital affairs on his part.

However, Star reports, citing unnamed sources close to the couple, Gwen feels like she can no longer take it. She's haunted by his secret past and it's totally run their marriage into the ground.

“Gwen Stefani, 42, and Gavin Rossdale, 46, have been in and out of couple’s therapy trying to repair their marriage, but a source tells the mag that divorce is 'inevitable',” the report argues.

Sources say all the secrecy around Gavin has made Gwen doubt he's the same man he met in 1995 and married in 2002.

“He’s just not been honest with her about his past,” says an insider, referring particularly to the revelation that Gavin had a daughter from a former lover and hadn't told Gwen about her.

“Gwen often wonders what other secrets Gavin is hiding. It’s getting harder and harder for her to go through the motions with a man she sometimes feels like she doesn’t even know,” the insider adds.

As if all this wasn't enough strain on the marriage already, their careers are also causing problems, Star further claims.

When they first met – and fell in love – Gavin was riding the wave with his band Bush, whereas Gwen was just at the beginning of the road with No Doubt.

Today, things have changed a bit: Bush is now making a comeback, but Gwen has a successful career both with and outside No Doubt, while also making a lot of money as a designer.

“When they got together, it was Gavin who had the big career. [It's] been a really hard journey for him,” the insider notes.
