Singer Gwen Stefani took to Instagram to confirm what many people have been speculating about. In a newly created account, she revealed to the world that she and her husband Gavin Rossdale are expecting a baby boy.

Gwen had an interesting way of announcing her new pregnancy. She posted a photo of herself wearing a crown, hinting that she remains the only woman in her family, something which she considers to be the position of “Queen of the house.”

It looks as though Stefani really wanted a girl this time, someone to take over the title but alas, it wasn't to be. Nonetheless, the mother-to-be doesn't look too sad that she gets to keep her crown and all the benefits that come with being the only girl in the house.

The photo was captioned “I was ready to hand over the crown. but I guess I am still the queen of the house.” Stefani also added some hashtags in order to make it clear for everyone: “#itsaboy #surroundedbyboys.”

This will be the third child for Gwen Stefani and rocker husband Gavin Rosdale. The two musicians got married back in 2002 and have at the moment two boys together, Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 5. Bush frontman Rossdale has another daughter from a previous relationship, Daisy Lowe, 24.

The news that the No Doubt singer was pregnant comes as a shock to no one. The first time she sparked pregnancy rumors was back in September when she said in an interview she had really wanted a third child two years before but things didn't work out as planned.

But she brushed it off, saying that she's happy with what she's got at the moment. Now it's looking like a case of “better late than never,” as fans rush to congratulate Stefani on her new pregnancy.
