A person is selling a deck of Official Apple Computer Playing Cards allegedly bought from the on-campus Apple Shop located at Apple Computer's Cupertino HQ in 1997.

Currently at £303.57, the bid is set to end in five days from now.

“Bid on these highly collectible Official Apple Computer Playing Cards,” seller dingers247 encourages visitors of his ebay announcement. “Unused - cards in mint condition! Card box has very minor scuffs,” the description reads.

The seller claims to have bought the item back in 1997 from the place where you could purchase Apple-branded objects unavailable to the general population.

“I bought this full set of playing cards from the on-campus Apple Shop located at Apple Computer's Cupertino HQ in 1997,” dingers247 says. “This was the place Apple employees could purchase Apple-branded goodies that were unavailable to mere mortals.”

Needless to point out, this item will not be available at your local shop now, or any time soon.

“These playing cards are ultra rare, and there's no way Apple would allow collectibles like this to be on sale again,” the seller stresses.

He confirms that it’s a full deck of 52 cards plus two Jokers with box, while the cards use Bombs, Clocks, Mac Face and Trash Cans instead of Clubs, Hearts, Diamonds and Spades.

“These have been opened and viewed but never played with. There are no creases or bends in any card,a nd they are perfectly clean and white,” dingers247 admits.

He concludes by expressing his belief that “This is a brilliant item for collectors of Apple memorablia [sic].”

Indeed, a set of Official Apple Computer Playing Cards is a must-have for Apple die-hard fans.

The seller appears to have very positive feedback on eBay.
