Guy Ritchie and Girlfriend Are Expecting Their First Child

Director Guy Ritchie, until not long ago dubbed “Mr. Madonna” by some media outlets, has moved on from the failed marriage to the Queen of Pop. In fact, Guy and his girlfriend are expecting their first child later this year.

Ritchie and model Jacqui Ainsley have been dating for a year, and had already talked about the possibility of starting a family when they learned of the pregnancy, PopEater says citing reports in the British Media.

News of the World was the first to break the story, with the Daily Mail obtaining confirmation of it: the two will be having their first child and will be moving in together soon.

Admittedly, since learning of the pregnancy, Guy has been very attentive towards Jacqui, preventing her from over-exerting herself.

“Jacqui was crying with joy when she found out. They went on holiday because Guy is desperate for her to take it easy. He won’t let her do anything more strenuous than argue over baby names,” an unnamed but reportedly reliable spy says.

The two are also thinking of starting a family – and may be walking down the aisle sometime next year. In the meanwhile, though, they’re making preparations for living together.

It is believed that Jacqui is in talks to sell her London apartment so that she can move in Guy’s mansion as soon as renovations to it are complete.

“They have been keen to start a family. We expect to hear wedding bells next year,” a friend of the couple says for the British media, as cited by the aforementioned PopEater.

Guy and his former wife, Madonna, whom he divorced at the beginning of 2009, share the custody of two children: 10-year-old biological son Rocco and 6-year-old adopted boy David.

Other reports in the British media suggest that Madonna has already learned the great news and is said to be thrilled about it.
