Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure, a 3D action RPG, immerses gamers in a vivid fantasy world filled with a colorful cast of characters. Real-time combat and stunning 3D graphics combine with a spirited soundtrack to make Gurumin a fast-paced, immersive, magical adventure.

Gurumin stars a strong-willed girl named Parin, who is sent to live with her grandfather in a small mining town while her parents are off excavating an ancient ruin. With no other children living in this town, Parin is surprised one day to encounter a young girl being tormented by a stray dog. After Parin drives off the mongrel, she is shocked to discover the young girl is actually a monster, and like all monsters, invisible to adults. Parin is soon invited to pass through a crack in the wall behind her home and enter Monster Village.

Parin has just started making monster friends when evil spirits, known as the Phantoms, invade the town and monsternap most of the inhabitants. Parin soon learns of the Legendary Drill, a weapon hidden underneath the village and, in the right hands, powerful enough to destroy the Phantoms. Thus begins Parin's adventure to reclaim the legendary drill and stop the Phantoms.

Unlockables

Completion bonuses:
Successfully complete the game under the normal difficulty setting to unlock Hard mode. You may also start a new game to access a bonus sub-quest and have all previously unlocked costumes, money and the drill power-up available. Although you will have to find the Headgear again, they will be at their previous levels.

Successfully complete game under the beginner, normal, hard and happy difficulty settings. Start new game and get the drill then return to town. You can find Popon in front of Fan's cake shop. Talk to her and you will be able to play as her.

Successfully complete game under the beginner, normal, hard and happy difficulty settings. Start a new game and go to the final locked house in human town and enter LEGENDARY as a password. Note: Enter yarushikanaiwane as a password in the Japanese version in Hiragana/Katakana. Boss Rush mode allows all eight Bosses to be fought in succession.

Movie viewer:

Hard mode:

Alternate costumes:
Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding alternate costume. Use the dresser in the corner of Parin's room to change costumes.

Armor: Give 30 Gold Medals to Hyperbolic in Beginner mode.
Chinese Dress: Get the good ending in Hard mode.
Kimono: Set the system date between January 1st and 7th.
Leopard Suit: Get the good ending in Crazy mode.
Maid Outfit: Can be bought from the vending machine at Spinach Caverns - Shadow Grotto.
Monkey Suite: Get the good ending in Beginner mode.
Nurse Outfit: Complete Boss Rush mode in Happy mode.
Pajamas: Get the good ending in Normal mode.
Princess Dress: Give 30 Gold Medals to Hyperbolic in Normal mode.
Samurai Outfit: Give 30 Gold Medals to Hyperbolic in Crazy mode.
Santa Outfit: Set the system date between December 25th and 31st.
School Uniform: Get the good ending in Happy mode.
Swimsuit: Complete Boss Rush in Crazy mode.
Vampire Outfit: Give 30 Gold Medals to Hyperbolic in Hard mode.
Witch Outfit: Give 30 Gold Medals to Hyperbolic in Happy mode.
