A memorial has been held for 16-year-old Joshua Broussard, a student stabbed to death at a Houston high-school in an alleged gang brawl.

According to Click 2 Houston, gunshots were reported at the vigil. Police are investigating the shooter at the suburban Houston memorial, but they have not pinpointed any persons of interest in the case as of yet.

Officials detail that at least 8 shots have been fired. The incident followed a brawl at the end of the memorial service at Spring Baptist Church.

The altercation was started inside the church, then escalated and continued in front of the building. Nobody was injured during the fight.

As I wrote, Broussard died after a stabbing incident at school, which left three other students wounded. Police have arrested 17-year-old Luis Alonzo Alfaro for the killing.
