Bandai Namco's Gundam card game is soon coming for the Nintendo 3DS handheld gaming system, and the company has released a new video introducing some of the game's features.

Gundam TriAge SP will come with some new features, such as an illustrated guide with many details on cards players have already collected, support for StreetPass and some added button controls to fit the Nintendo 3DS.

The Gundam-inspired card game packs an assortment of over 400 missions, as well as more than 1400 different cards, including some 160+ Mobile Suits cards.

Gundam TriAge SP will assemble various Mecha from the series, including Freedom Gundam, Unicorn Gundam and Double OO Gundam.

Gundam TriAge SP will allow its players to battle through the use of cards on the Nintendo 3DS starting on July 17.

The game is currently available exclusively in Japanese arcades, and the Nintendo 3DS adaptation will keep the same format, players picking three mobile suits and three players and then heading into battle.

Gundam games are going strong in Japan, with Bandai Namco's free-to-play Mobile Suit Gundam: Battle Operation registering over 1 million downloads since its release; yet, unfortunately for western markets, there is currently no word regarding a potential release of their mecha-flavored games for Europe or North America.
