Over 40 members of the public transformed themselves from ordinary human beings into actual rock Gods this weekend as they played
RedOctane's Guitar Hero on stage at Donington's Download Festival.

The festival - which saw headlining acts from Guns and Roses and Metallica - boasted equally stunning performances from over 40 members of the public, who gave it their all on the Gibson stage.

The festival's nights were rocked out with renditions of metal classics such as Ace of Spades, Symphony of Destruction and Bark At The Moon, to name just a few.

"It was an absolutely incredible few days," says Dave Noble, Business Development Manager, RedOctane. "To see these Guitar Hero players up on stage, strutting their stuff in ways in which Axl Rose would be proud was fantastic. It was brilliant to see the rock star poses transferred from the living rooms of the nation to the country's greatest stages, and we're extremely grateful to Gibson and Live Nation, organisers of the Download Festival, for helping us make Guitar Hero players' dreams come true."
