E For All is one of the biggest gaming conventions in the United States. It will take place at the Los Angeles Convention Center starting on October 3 and ending on Sunday, October 5. It will host the biggest game companies out there which will showcase their line-up of games, offer trials
of their upcoming titles and promote their holiday line-up of games. One of the most anticipated titles will be Activision's Guitar Hero: World Tour. The hit music game promises innovations and an even wider song library than any other game. Set to be in direct competition to the already launched Rock Band 2, it has been heavily promoted by the publisher and now, with the occasion of this event, alongside Target, one of the biggest game store franchises, will hold a tournament.

“In the spirit of E For All, Target will be giving consumers an early look at Activision's highly-anticipated Guitar Hero World Tour videogame before it hits store shelves on October 26," said Mark Schindele, SVP, Target. "E for All is a great opportunity for us to connect with an audience who may not think about Target as the first place to buy their games.”

The tournament will give players to opportunity to test the very anticipated game almost two weeks before its official release date. Players who want to enter the competition and possibly win the big prize of 2,000 dollars in cash must sign up on Friday or Saturday and then rock out in the preliminary rounds, with the final taking place Sunday.

For those of you who don't know, Guitar Hero is one of the best selling music games out there. Although it has focused only on guitar playing, like the name suggests, in this new title, the player will also have the ability to play the drums and the vocals. The ideas were borrowed from the game's rival, Rock Band, which was the first one to offer such opportunities to players.
