The development team at FreeStyleGames and publisher Activision are ready to announce another batch of songs that will be included in the new Guitar Hero Live, with more reveals about the list of tracks set to arrive in the coming months.

The new title is designed to introduce hundreds of songs for gamers to play through, focused on both classic rock bands and newcomers.

The newly revealed songs for Guitar Hero Live include:

Royal Blood - Little Monster

Marilyn Manson - Disposable Teens

Killswitch Engage - In Due Time

Marmozets  - Move Shake Hide

Of Mice & Men - Bones Exposed

Deftones - Diamond Eyes

Vista Chino - Sweet Remain

Bring Me the Horizon - Shadow Moses

Mastodon - High Road

Trivium - Strife

The new music title will not allow gamers to bring in any of the songs that they bought for previous installments, meaning the development team will need to carefully curate the list of tracks that will be included in Guitar Hero Live.

Activision has also revealed a new instrument for the title, which has been designed to take into account feedback from players and to offer a better experience when they engage in playing.

Guitar Hero Live aims for more immersion

FreeStyleGames says that they are trying to make a music game that allows gamers to experience the way an actual musician would deal with his instrument and the public.

A special robot arm was used to capture footage of other band members and of the public and the developers are using multiple takes to make sure that Guitar Hero Live delivers variety as well as immersion.

FreeStyleGames says that more than one hundred songs will be included in the initial release, and DLC will surely add more.

Guitar Hero Live will also use an entirely new Guitar Hero TV mode, which will have a constant stream of videos running, with the gamer able to simply jump in to play over any of them.

Multiple channels will be included and matchmaking for other band members will happen in real time in the background.

Guitar Hero Live will arrive in the fall of this year on the PlayStation 4, the Xbox One, The Nintendo Wii U, last-gen consoles, and iOS-powered devices.
